The annual ‘Croso Zundert’ Flower Parade in the Netherlands will surely put any flower parade in the world to shame. Founded in 1936, it is the largest flower parade in the world. Every year, teams of volunteers compete in this national event for the best-designed flower float.

This year, 20 different floats of everything from mystical creatures to animals to people featured in this grand event. These gigantic floats, made from thousands of dahlias, incorporate moving elements and are accompanied by marching bands and other performers along the parade route.

This year’s winner was a giant orange dragon, titled “Dangerous Transportation” and designed by a team called Tiggelaar.
